Immigration Attorney

Lion’s Law P.C. is a small law firm located in Newton, Massachusetts. We are seeking a full time mid to senior level business immigration attorney to join this fast-paced environment. The law firm offers a full range of services in corporate, commercial, employment, trusts and estates and litigation. You will be spearheading the firm’s immigration practice and are given the opportunity to lead the department. The firm’s established clientele will feed and support the assured growing immigration needs. If you have high energy, craving for challenges, and are action oriented and an effective and excellent communicator, you will be a fit for the position.

Qualifications

• LLM is required and JD is desired.

• Member of any State Bar.

• Minimum 5 years of experience including non-immigration such as L, H, E, O and immigration in EB cases.

• EB-5 experience is a plus.  

• Chinese (Mandarin) is a must.

• If you bring sufficient book of business, position and renumeration can be negotiated.  

Responsibilities

• Preparing and filing non-immigrant and immigrant petitions and applications.

• Advise clients on I-9 and E-Verify compliance and corporate immigration policies.

• Counsel clients through the PERM labor certification process.

• Represent clients in all aspects of business immigration law.

• Correspond with the client and the individual employee during the intake process.

• Maintain a high-level of communication with all clients.

• Establish and maintain case work quality and consistency throughout the office.

• Maintain accuracy to high volume, rapid turnover caseload.

• Participate in other office projects as assigned.
